Manufactured with 67-layered stainless Damascus steel, the 7" Santoku knife from the Kyoku Shogun Series is designed for maximum sharpness and safety. It features a gorgeous herringbone pattern on the base of the tang, and the hollow edge design ensures food does not stick to the blade, making it practical for everyday use.

The Kyoku Shogun Series is the apex of modern Japanese cutlery, made of cryogenically-hardened VG-10 steel wrapped between Damascus steel folded 33 times. This series retains its ultrafine edge and resists corrosion to outlast the competition. Each blade is cryogenically treated using the traditional 3-step Honbazuke method for incredible hardness, flexibility, and corrosion resistance.

Time-honored sword making methods make each Kyoku custom knife appear unique and result in a thinner, harder, and sharper blade than western knives. We blend ultramodern technology with ancient craftsmanship to create a scalpel-thin blade edge with powerful nonstick performance. The exclusive appearance is accented by a hammer-beaten wave pattern that gives way to a traditional Damascus steel design, and the ergonomic handle is artistically accented with an engraved mosaic pin, revealing this knife's luxurious identity.
